Did you know there are several data available through UT’s Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (OIRA)? Here’s a sampling of what you can find on their website:
- Common Data Set. The CDS provides standard questions and definitions that capture most of the requested data from publishers’ such as College Board, Peterson’s Guide, and U. S. News & World Report.
- Fact Book. The Fact Book is the official info source on students, faculty and staff, budget and finances, and university resources, reflecting data for the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, the Institute of Agriculture, and the Space Institute.
- Student Graduation and Retention Reports. OIRA provides separate retention and graduation reports for first-time full-time (FTFT) freshman and undergraduate full-time Transfer (FTT) cohorts.
- Licensure Rates. Are you curious how many students from nursing, law, vet medicine, and engineering passed their licensure examinations? Find out from OIRA!
All of this data is freely and easily accessible. You can also find results from the California Critical Thinking Skills Test (CCTST), interactive reports on enrollment and majors awarded, U.S. News Rankings, and more. For more information, check out OASI’s Guide to OIRA or visit oira.utk.edu/reporting to review and access the data.
