Department Guide for Event Pass

Why use the Event Pass?

  • The Division of Student Life has identified tracking student engagement as an action item to support priority 4 (Responsible & Effective Stewardship) of the division’s new strategic plan. This new feature (Event Pass) within the Engage (Volink) module of Anthology allows for more robust tracking and reporting of student engagement of the events, programs and services within the Division of Student Life. Departments will be able to post their events on their department webpage in Volink (in addition to the university event calendar), utilize the RSVP feature for events, check students both into events and upon exiting events if desired, send reminders about events, send follow-up surveys to those that attended the event, and access reports (see below). This will also enable the Division of Student Life to aggregate event attendance and analyze data at a higher level (Supporting NASPA program review recommendations).
