Tuesday, July 27th, 2020, at 1 pm
OASI invites you to our July professional development webinar called “CAS Standards and Culture of Evidence” (Part 2)
This will be the second part of a panel discussion that we held in June. It will feature the DSL Assessment Steering Committee. The committee will answer questions regarding CAS standards and assessment. Dr. Melissa Brown will lead this session. She will provide you with an overview of the CAS standards; you will learn how these standards connect to assessment and eventually to program review.
This webinar will be based on the two articles linked below:
“Using the CAS Standards to Build a Culture of Assessment “ by Alice A. Mitchell
“Follow the Data: How Campuses Use Assessment in Times of Change” by Annemieke Rice
By attending this panel session, participants will be able to:
- Understand the article by Alice Mitchell and its implications for practice at UTK
- Discuss solutions to common assessment hurdles
- Learn new ways to foster a culture of evidence in your area
- Articulate methods of navigating transparency issues with sensitive data
We will send out a Zoom link right before the meeting. Please, RSVP using the form below:
